We bid farewell to Laura Ann McBurney of Portsmouth, Virginia, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on February 8, 2025 at the age of 49. Laura Ann touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her father Thomas Judson Williford of Portsmouth; and her son William A. McBurney V. She is survived by: her mother Ann Lynn Vaughan Williford (Lynn) of Portsmouth; her husband William Arthur McBurney IV (Billy); her children, Justin Wilson, Taylor Ball and Dylan McBurney; her daughter-in-law Ashley; her grandchildren, DJ, Kait McBurney, Michael McBurney, Gabe McBurney and Hazel McBurney; her stepsons, Steven and Chris Ball; her sister Lisa Landres; her brother-in-law Jack Landres; her niece Ellie Landres of Alexandria; and her in-laws, Justyna and William A. McBurney III of Suffolk.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the H. D. Oliver Norfolk Chapel (1501 Colonial Ave, Norfolk, VA 23517).
