In the sacred silence of farewell, Joseph Collins is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. He is survived by: his significant other Pat; his sons, Jonathan (Cindy) and Joshua (Bethany); and his granddaughters, Rachel Iman Boone (Jeffrey) and Samantha Iman.
Visitation was held on Sunday, March 30th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Portsmouth Boulevard Chapel (5201 Portsmouth Blvd, Portsmouth, VA 23701). A memorial service was held on Monday, March 31st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Aldersgate United Methodist Church (4320 Bruce Rd, Chesapeake, VA 23321).
