He was predeceased by: his stepdaughter Jennifer Lucas; his mother Doris O. Fizer of Missouri; and his brother Alvin Jacobson of Missouri. He is survived by: his wife Gail Fizer of Portsmouth; his children, Amy Davis of Portsmouth, Joseph Fizer of Portsmouth, Jordan Fizer of Portsmouth and Shay Fizer of Spring Lake, NC; his siblings, Bill Jacobson (Kathy) of Slater, MO, Lena Williams (Elvin) of Slater, Raines (Joe) of San Diego, CA and Sam Fizer of Branson, MO; his grandchildren, Shane Davis of Portsmouth, Brianna Davis (Rasheem Agostino) of Newport News and Mariah Davis (Dontarius Lucas) of Raleigh, NC; and his great grandchildren, Annora Agostino, Apollo Agostino and Kaleesi Lucas.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Deep Creek Baptist Church (250 Mill Creek Pkwy, Chesapeake, VA 23323).
