He was predeceased by: his wife Vina Jean Blackburn. He is survived by: his daughter Carola Bennett (Ken Bennett); his grandchildren, Kaitlin Lieberman (Bret Lieberman) and Ryan Bennett (Katie Bennett); and his great grandchild Asher Lieberman. He is also survived by his family, friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 28th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the Loving Funeral Home Churchland Chapel (3225 Academy Ave, Portsmouth, VA 23703). A funeral service was held on Friday, March 28th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the same location. The military honors will be held on Thursday, April 17th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery (5310 Milners Rd, Suffolk, VA 23434).
