We are sad to announce that on July 28, 2024 we had to say goodbye to Emmaleen Quayle Stapleton of Portsmouth, Virginia, born in Montrose, Colorado. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Daniel Quayle and Myrtle Maudie Stafford Quayle; her husband Richard Eugene Stapleton; her son Richard E. Stapleton, Jr.; and her brother Charles Quayle.

She is survived by: her children, Randy Eugene Stapleton (Martha), Mark E. Stapleton (Sandy), Ricky Stapleton (Melinda), Cheryl Lynn Rice (Chad) and Lori Stapleton; her grandchildren, Terry Stapleton (Brandy), Tina Stapleton, Jennifer Stapleton (Warren), Josh Stapleton (Dara), Kerri Parsons (Jeff), Richard Stapleton (Heather), Jacob Stapleton, Jessica E. Norrell (Oliver), Franz Imhof (Sheniece) and Robert Allison; and her sister Mel Carter. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
