He is survived by: his wife Dottie Wainwright; his children, David Wainwright (Krissy) of Holly Springs, NC and Jennifer Wainwright of Norfolk, Virginia; his sister Elizabeth Wainwright Jackson (Betty) of Newport News, Virginia; and his granddaughters, Meredith, Anna and Lauren Wainwright of Holly Springs, NC.. He is also survived by his family and will be missed by his family, friends.
