He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Funkhouser and Mary Funkhouser (Gloria Ferguson Funkhouser). He is survived by: his children, Victoria McLean (Doug), Daniel Funkhouser (Donna Gray Funkhouser), Douglas Funkhouser (Julie Hull Funkhouser) and Nancy Elizabeth Funkhouser. He is also survived by six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
