It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Constance Daniel Crawford (Portsmouth, Virginia), who passed away on November 12, 2024, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Constance Daniel leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Daniel and Willie Hutchins Daniel; and her husband William Thurman Crawford. She is survived by: her children, Constance Goins, Dara Brinkman (Kevin), William Ramsey, Jr. (Theresa), Robert Ramsey and Brian Ramsey (Cheryl); and her brother Kenneth Daniel (Betsy). She is also survived by eight grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
Viewing was held on Sunday, November 17th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the Portsmouth Boulevard Chapel (5201 Portsmouth Blvd, Portsmouth, VA 23701). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Sturtevant Funeral Home (5201 Portsmouth Blvd, Portsmouth, VA 23701).
