She was predeceased by: her mother Mary Evelyn Crawford Dickinson. She is survived by: her husband Tony Lester Midgett; her children, Jennifer "Nickie" Cowhig (Brad), Starr Catrone, George "Tomme" Connelley, III (Dusti), David Midgett, II (Sabrina) and Gabe Moore (Jada); her sister Debbie Gilpin (Bill); and her grandchildren, Will, Harley, Ashley, Steph, Jorja, Jacob, Angel and Luca. She is also survived by many other extended family and friends.
In lieu of flowers donations may be offered to the SPCA of Northeastern North Carolina.
