It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Charles David Spence (Portsmouth, Virginia), born in Chesapeake, Virginia, who passed away on January 11, 2023, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his children, Lorna Spence Waghalter (Meyer) and Mark David Spence (Alisha) of Chesapeake; his grandchildren, Hailey, Lindsay Waghalter, Boden, Trenton and Lyla Spence; his brother Robin of North Carolina; and his niece Annora of Chesapeake. He is also survived by cousins, an aunt, and friends of his children.
