She is survived by: her children, Carolyn B. Joyner, Brenda Hales, Alvis Jr. (Ronny), Deborah Steele (Ronald), Timothy (Cindy), Wayne, Vanessa Richardson (Linwood), Rachel Birden (Michael), Pamela Jones (Derrick), Kenneth, Cathy Matthews (Charles) and Valerie; her caregiver Adrienne Etheridge; her grandchildren, Trina Lunsford, Shawne Morgan (Cliff), Michael Joyner (Linda), Tiffany Johnson (Shawn), Rolanda Steele, Tammy Hales, Clarence Joyner, Charita Joyner, Lori Atkins, Charles Matthews Jr., Troy Richardson, Aaron Matthews, Sade Joyner, Veronique Joyner, Raichelle Green (Lorenzo), Precious Richardson, Dajah Jones, Alexander and Jermiah Joyner; and also Emmie.
