She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Wray and Annie Mae Wray; her husband Otis Buckner; her daughters, Marie and Angela Wray; her grandson Robert Wray; and her great grandchild Keyon Wray.
She is survived by: her great grandchild Tashima Wheeler of Jacksonville, Fla.; and her friend Sam. She is also survived by great-great grandchildren, nephews, nieces, and cousins.
Viewing will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Metropolitan Funeral Service (5605 Portsmouth Blvd, Portsmouth, VA 23701). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
