He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Cherry and Pearl Moseberth Cherry; and his siblings, Audrey Cherry Purser, Alvin A. Cherry and Vincent T. Cherry.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce Kay Lambert Cherry; his children, Timothy (Jennifer) and Joan Harrold, MD (Don); his grandchildren, Kate Harrold Knight (Zach), Paul Harrold and John Harrold; and his great grandchildren, Jocelyn and Natalie Knight.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:50 AM at the Loving Funeral Home Churchland Chapel (3225 Academy Ave, Portsmouth, VA 23703). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
If desired, memorials in Bruce's name may be made to St. Paul Lutheran Church (222 N. George St, Millersville, PA 17551) or a charity of one's choosing.
