She was predeceased by: her parents, George E. Thompson and Thelma B. Thompson; and her siblings, Joyce Carter, Donna Daniels, David and Gary Thompson.
She is survived by: her sons, James Harris of Chattanooga, Tennessee., Christopher Harris of Chattanooga, Tennessee. and Jermaine Harris (Ariel) of Chattanooga, Tennessee.; and her siblings, Robert Thompson, George Thompson of Silver Springs, MD, Donald Thompson of Norfolk, VA and Dorthelia Thompson of Norfolk, VA.. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and countless friends.
Viewing was held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Corprew Funeral Home Chapel (1822 Portsmouth Blvd, Portsmouth, VA 23704). A celebration of life was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
