She was predeceased by: her daughter Sharon H. Sachs; her brother Donald Earl "Billy" Rice; her brother-in-law Clinton Varner; and her great grandchild Emerson K. Sachs. She is survived by: her husband Milford K. Howell, Jr.; her daughter Tracy K. Howell; her siblings, June Varner and Robert "Tommy" Rice (Patricia); her grandchildren, Kristin S. Souder and Justin K. Sachs; her great grandchildren, Carter B. Sachs and Graham R. Souder; her sisters-in-law, Joyce L. Rice and Margaret Howell; and her nieces, Jamie Howell and Jennifer Kinchen. She is also survived by many other nieces and nephews.
