Aaron Short Obituary

We are sad to announce that on October 30, 2024, Aaron Short of Portsmouth, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the vast expanse of eternity, Aaron shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Aaron farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.

He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Daniel Short Sr., Delmar White, George Mickley Sr. and Trudy Mickley. He is survived by: his parents, Dwayne Markclay Short and Claudia Lynn Mickley Short; his brother Robert Short (Britney); his niece MaKenzie Short; and his nephew Nathan. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the Loving Funeral Home Churchland Chapel (3225 Academy Ave, Portsmouth, VA 23703).
