He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas James Coldman, Sr. and Ella Mae Griffin of Marerro, Louisiana.; and his wife Frances Maxine Coldman. He is survived by: his great grandchild Ava Simone; his mother-in-law Annie Laura Ferguson; his children, William V. Carter, III and Michele K. Carter; his grandson Barry M. Smith, Jr. (Candice); his great grandchildren, Justin Smith and Ava Simone Smith; his brothers-in-law, Anthony Ferguson (Tony) of Bowling Green, VA. and Michael Gray of Fredericksburg, VA.; his son Nguyen (family: Christy T. Nguyen, Richson Nguyen, Ryan Nguyen); and his close friends, Bow, Kenny, Eddie, Charles and James. He is also survived by beautiful nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Saturday, October 12th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Cedell Brooks Memorial Chapel (25662 A P Hill Blvd, Port Royal, VA 22535). A funeral service was held on Saturday, October 12th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, October 12th 2024 from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM at the Evergreen Cemetery.
