With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ricardo Jose Chen (Port Royal, Virginia), born in Washington, District of Columbia, who passed away on July 24, 2023 at the age of 67. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, King-Pao Chen and Nicolasa Chen (Guadalupe). He is survived by: his wife Deloris Chen; his sons, Ricardo Donfor-Chen, Jr. (Silver Spring, MD) and Nicholas Chen (Washington, DC); his sister Luz Maria P. Bhanji (New Jersey); his uncle Carlos Palacios (Virginia); and his aunt Josefina Palacios Maceo. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
