It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Douglas Macarthur Jefferson Jr. (Port Royal, Virginia), who passed away on January 19, 2022, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Horace Douglas and Ellie Mae. He is survived by: his pet Bishop; his brother Dr. Alphine W. Jefferson of Ruther Glen, VA; his close friend Gloria B. Samuel of Ruther Glen, VA.; his extended family, Betty Brown of Ruther Glen, VA., Pearl Minor of Ruther Glen, VA. and Shirley Young of Ruther Glen, VA.; and his friends, Linwood Moore, Steve Lee, Tim Moore and Kermit Gwathmey. He is also survived by Five nephews, one great nephew and two great nieces.
