“Wallie and my dad, Ken Holman, we’re friends since I was very little and we lived in Rockville. We moved to Mt. Airy and years later, when I was a teenager, Wallie had stopped by. I was upstairs in my room, attempting to build a new closet system I had just purchased at the local Ames. I had my dads drill gun and the instructions spread out across my floor. Either my dad told Wallie what I was up to, or he heard all the drilling, but Wallie offered to help. I remember a tape measure on his belt and a pencil behind his ear. He built the entire closet for me, all in 20 minutes! I was also so appreciative of that. RIP Wallie”
