She was predeceased by: her parents, Otis Herring and Edna Showalter Bowman; her husband John Jacob Myers, Sr.; and her daughter-in-law Carolyn Landes Myers. She is survived by: her sons, Donald B. Myers of Harrisonburg, John J. Myers, Jr. (Linda) of Cross Keys, Richard S. "Dick" Myers (Susanne) of Harrisonburg and Carter Myers (Esther) of McGaheysville; and her grandchildren, Susan M. Garber (Ryan), Amy M. Ruebke (Tim), Tara M. Woods (Michael), Sacha M. Layman (Kevin), Lisa M. Good (Nicholas), Stephanie M. Michalowicz (Mike), Kimberly M. Phillips (Eric), Jennifer M. Bryant (Chris), John J. Myers, III (Nicolette), Tracey M. May (Bobby), Anthony R. "Andy" Myers (Ginger), Eric Myers (Ashley) and Melissa M. Stover (Travis). She is also survived by 32 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
