She was predeceased by: her parents, James Bruce and Julia Bruce (Sigers); and her siblings, JoAnne Spencer and James Bruce. She is survived by: her children, Tabitha Dean (John "JP") and Joshua Rodgers (Shani); her stepson Rolland Rodgers, Jr. (Aura); and her siblings, Kevin Spencer (Robin), Wendell Bruce (Debbie), Kim Schimpf, Rebecca Sigrist (Chris), Betty Spencer (Gene) and Devon Jernigan. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
