He was predeceased by: his parents, Della Bowman (Knicely) and Roy S. Bowman; and his sister Anna Lee Hanger. He is survived by: his wife Peggy Ann Bowman (Turner); his sons, Brad A. Bowman of Harrisonburg, Bruce W. Bowman (Mary Beth) of Grottoes and Barry L. Bowman (Margaret) of Grottoes; and his siblings, Rhea Driver (Lewis) of Harrisonburg and Leon Bowman of Harrisonburg. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren.
