It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thomas E. Sayre (Poquoson, Virginia), born in Bridgehampton, New York, who passed away on December 13, 2024, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his significant other Nancy Lewis Sayre; his parents, Warren Sayre and Marjorie Sayre; and his brother Richard Warren Sayre. He is survived by: his children, Jennifer McMasters (Brad) of Poquoson, VA and Richard Sayre (Debra) of Carrollton, VA; his granddaughters, Lee McMasters of Radford, VA, Beth Martin (Zach) of Lynchburg, VA and Jessica McMasters of Harrisonburg, VA; his great grandchild Emet James Martin of Lynchburg, VA.; his sister Judy Debes of Downingtown, PA; and his brother-in-law Gil Tennant of Southampton, NY. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
