She was predeceased by: her parents, Horace Hansford and Elsie Hansford; her husband William Franklin Lawson; her siblings, Hudson Hansford and Doris Johnson; and her son-in-law Harold Skinner, Jr..
She is survived by: her children, Dr. H. Frank Lawson (Peggy) of Richmond and Kathy Skinner of Zion Crossroads; her grandchildren, Will Lawson of Richmond, Susan Lawson of Wills Point and Josh Skinner (Audrey) of Charlottesville; and her great grandchild Evelyn Skinner. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
