He was predeceased by: his parents, Lydia Avis Hopkins and Edward Raymond Hopkins; and his brothers, Butch Hopkins and Kenneth Hopkins. He is survived by: his wife Catherine Suzanne Hopkins; his daughter Rebecca Lynn Wade; his son-in-law Andrew; his son Sean Robert Hopkins (Juliane); his siblings, Kimberly Deibler and Doug Hopkins; and his grandchildren, Anderson Joseph Wade and Charlotte Lydia Wade.
In lieu of flowers the family has requested that donation be made to Tabernacle United Methodist Church or the Poquoson Education Foundation.
