Dakota Demosiuk Obituary
To go with the cliches, he lit up a room when he entered and his smile could make your heart melt. He was kind, clever, giving, witty, funny, liked a good book and long walks on the beach, and above all else loved with his whole heart. He loved a good dad joke, used puns when he could, and knew the importance of a little dark humor. He was an avid lover of Star Wars, Marvel, Dungeons & Dragons, and music. He valued his time with friends and family deeply. He enjoyed traveling and experiencing new things. He participated in multiple clubs and volunteer opportunities and was passionate about his future plans. He truly was one of a kind.
Dakota Demosiuk was born in Portsmouth VA June 7th 2006 and passed November 8th 2024 in Poquoson VA. Dakota was a 2024 gradute of Poquoson High School.
He is survived by his parents Richard and Diana Demosiuk and Stephanie and William Hilt, Brothers Riley Jones and Aidan and Collin Demosiuk. Grandparents Mark and Joene Demosiuk, Waynette Mullins, Edwina Benner and Sanda Roberson, His partner Jason as well as multiple aunts, uncles, cousin, and friends. He is proceeded in death by his grandfathers Dave Roberson and Jerry Mullins.
A celebration of life for Dakota will be held on Saturday November 16 at Claytor Rollins Funeral Home in Poquoson, VA.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to a preforming arts scholarship that will be created in his name for an arts student from his alma mater.
