He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel Boone Isaacs and Elsie Edith Triplett Isaacs; his wife Shirley Vaughn Isaacs; his siblings, Lewie, Lawrence Isaacs, Gladys Isaacs and Helen Gentry; and his brother-in-law James Gentry.

He is survived by: his son Kenneth Isaacs, Jr. of Anderson, SC; his siblings, Fred Isaacs (Londa) of Bristolville, OH and Sue Neely (Van) of Laurel Bloomery, TN; his sister-in-law Pat Isaacs of Lakewood, OH; his grandson Jack Perkins; and his close friends, David Salyers and Debra LaSala. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
