He is survived by: his wife Ruby Barker Shelton of Pittsville; his son Steve Allen Shelton, Sr. (Charlotte) of Pittsville; his siblings, Larry Neville Shelton of Huddleston, Ruth Dalton of Hurt and Louise Gauldin (Jim) of Martinsville; his grandsons, Steve Shelton, Jr. (Johanna) of Pittsville and Keith Shelton (Anna) of Crestview, FL; his great grandchildren, Julia, Connor and Corbin; and his nephew Kevin Barker.
