She was predeceased by: her parents, William D. Wilson, Sr. and Jane Mattox Wilson; her husband Elton Quincy Quarles; her brothers, William D. Wilson, Jr. and Wilkie N. Wilson; and her son-in-law James Thompson III.
She is survived by: her children, Linda Thompson of Gretna, Sammy Quarles of Danville and Johnny Quarles (Bonnie) of Wirtz. She is also survived by five grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.
