He was predeceased by: his parents, Woodrow Wilson Cook and Viola Mayhew Cook; his son Stacy Cook; his granddaughter Brandy Cook; and his pet Daisy.
He is survived by: his wife Peggy Thompson Cook; his children, Warren Cook (Virginia) of Pittsville and Amanda Sours (Andy) of Gretna; and his brother David Cook (Frances) of Gretna. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 27th 2024 from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM at the Colbert-Moran Funeral Home, Inc. (307 Main St, Gretna, VA 24557). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Colbert-Moran Chapel (307 Main St, Gretna, VA 24557).
