She was predeceased by: her parents, Jimmy L. English and Lillian M. Baker English; her husband James C. Anderson, Sr.; her siblings, Deloss Baker, James Baker, Jimmy English, Jr. and Geraldine English Coles; and her grandson Jamal Caprise Anderson.
She is survived by: her children, James Anderson, Jr. of Pittsville, Virginia and Lavena Cruz (Santos) of Wilmington; her grandchildren, Rasheem Anderson of Wilmington, Deisha Horton of Greenville, Alieda of Wilmington and Jasani Cruz of Wilmington; her sister Evangelist Rose Ervin of Winston Salem; and her sister-in-law Betty Witcher. She is also survived by three sisters-in-law; three brothers-in-law; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
