He was predeceased by: his parents, Woodrow Underwood and Pansy Underwood; and his granddaughter Alyssa Underwood. He is survived by: his wife Lois Underwood; his children, Regan Underwood (Angie), Brian Underwood (Michelle) and Eric Underwood (Joni); his grandchildren, Caitlyn Ward (Clinton), Woodrow Underwood (Alis), Logan Underwood, Gus Underwood (Natalie) and Riley Underwood; and his siblings, Donald Underwood and Marlene Clendenin (Walter). He is also survived by 10 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 1st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Huffville Church (1078 Huffville Rd NE, Pilot, VA 24138). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 at the Huffville Cemetery (1078 Huffville Rd NE, Pilot, VA 24138).
