She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Sowers and Maurine Sowers; her brother Frankie Sowers; and her great grandchild Ryan Joseph Atkinson. She is survived by: her husband Joel David Eller; her children, Darryl Eller (Patricia) of Lillington, NC, Rita Sunshine (Donn) of Wytheville, VA and Tina Morrell of Christiansburg, VA; her pets, Oscar and Princess; her great grandchildren, Cole, Ian, Claire, Owen, Justin and Jackson; her siblings, Garry Sowers (Weeta), Betty Lynn McNeil, Viola Tawney (James) and Deborah Farley; her siblings-in-law, Joyce Sowers and Randy Eller (Janice); and her aunt Colie. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
