She was predeceased by: her parents, Posey Flinchum and Annie Goins Flinchum; and her husband Daniel B. Blackwell. She is survived by: her son Gary; and her daughter-in-law Sue Blackwell of Pilot. She is also survived by nephews and nieces.

There will be no funeral per Ruth's request and due to Covid.
