With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Douglas Wayne Whitt of Pilgrims Knob, Virginia, who passed away on September 22, 2023 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Whitt and Mildred Delong Whitt; his brother Arthur Whitt; his nephew Robert Wayne Whitt; his niece Whitney Lester; and his father-in-law Teddy Addair.
He is survived by: his wife Regina Addair Whitt of Pilgrims Knob, VA; his daughters, Lisa (Jack Jones), Rachel Stanley (Jesssie) of Grundy, VA and Holly Damron (Kevin) of Pilgrims Knob, VA.; his sisters, Shirley Lester (Troy) and Mae Lester (Garmen) of Richlands, VA; his mother-in-law Girtrue Addair of Pilgrims; and his sister-in-law Joanne Whitt (Dwana Shortridge).
