He was predeceased by: his parents, Noble Hamlett and Majorie Madison Hamlett; and his sister Linda H. Giles. He is survived by: his children, Marquita "Renee" Hamlett and Jerry Davis; his grandchildren, Hope Hamlett, Faith Hamlett and Kevin Puckett IV; his siblings, Tirwonder Armstead, Janice Jackson and Leonard "Bo" Edwards; and his friend Connie Gaines. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
