He was predeceased by: his grandfather Robert Cornelius. He is survived by: his wife Sarah; his children, Hunter and Hallie Meeks; his parents, David Meeks and Sherri Meeks; his sister Christie (Denney); his nephew Devin; his niece Madison; his grandparents, Carol Meeks, John and Pat Walsh; and also, Herbert and Barbara Coen.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Missions at Midway Baptist Church, 2595 Midway Road, Phenix, VA 23959.
