He was predeceased by: his parents, William Mason and Mamie Mason; his wife Catherine White Mason; and his daughter Shirley Nelson Mason. He is survived by: his children, Llewellyn Mason (Deanne), William H. Mason, III (Georgia), Garry Mason (Lucille), Wayne Mason (Carolyn), Glenn Mason, Alfred Mason, Juanita Cameron (Charles Sr.) and Paula Woodson (Jeffrey); his cousin Kate Otelia Robinson; and also Bernice Player.
