She was predeceased by: her parents, Allen Rideout and Nannie Lee Rideout; and her sister Nancy Elder. She is survived by: her husband Mitchell C. Simmons, Jr.; her daughters, Michele Harris (Johnny) and Denise Aleksa (Jeff); her grandchildren, Brian Harris, Kevin Harris (Korrina), Corey Aleksa and Gracie Aleksa; her great grandchild Reagan Harris; and her siblings-in-law, Lennie Elder, William Simmons and Frances Scarbrough (Lee).
A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Crater Road (3935 S Crater Rd, Petersburg, VA 23805).
