Jackson, Dynel Jackson and Gloria Rainey; his siblings, C. Tina Jackson-Booth (Walter), Diane S. Gardner, Pastor Barbara S. Israel, Renee Taylor (Perry), Dorothy Fryar (Kenneth) and Larry Dowdy; his uncle Jerome Tucker (Renetta) of Panama; and his grandchildren, Ashley, Sade, Ajah, Dynel, Jr., Raven, Jaelynn, Amia, Jada, Amya, Melvin and Leah. He was also cherished by five great-grandchildren; a great number of nieces, nephews, cousins and relatives, along with a host of friends.
