He was predeceased by: his former wife Vivian Cook Fields (Cook); his parent Rebecca Fields Goodwyn Smith; his siblings, Waverly Fields, Sr. and Rosetta G. Henderson; and his brothers-in-law, Deacon James A. Henderson and Avortia J. Cook.
He is survived by: his children, Wilbert Fields, Jr. (Trina), Gwendolyn Fields Holoman (Bryan) and Avortia Deon Fields; his wife Annie Mae Clark Fields; his grandchildren, Wilbert Fields III, Tiffani Fields, Andrew Holoman, Mitchell Holoman and Christopher Holoman; his great grandchildren, Jared Holoman and Jayden Holoman; his nieces and nephews, Bonnie Henderson, Brenda Renee Henderson, Tara Fields, Waverly Fields, Jr., Sabrina Bland, Lawnaray Taylor, Lawrencia Taylor, Latrese Taylor, Earl Humphrise IV, Geno Humphrise (Sonja) and Michael Humphrise (Melonie); his stepson Ricky Moore (Giria); his grandchildren, Roshad Flowers and Myisha Moore; and his great grandchild John Flowers.
