He was predeceased by: his parents, Ferdinand McLaughlin and Mazie McLaughlin; his siblings, Annie M. Wilson and Freddie McLaughlin; his nephew James "Bay" Wilson; and his son-in-law Darnell Wiggins.
He is survived by: his wife Bernida McLaughlin; his daughters, Chanda Tyler, Briana, Lady, Johnson and Imani Mae McLaughlin; his grandchildren, Tymara "Lady" McLaughlin, Tymesha Spratley, Tyara Tyler, DeQuan Wiggins, DeKari Wiggins and Jayvion Kyrie Johnson; his great grandchild Amari Grace Wiggins; his brothers, Jerry McLaughlin of Petersburg, VA, Phillip McLaughlin (Linda) of Temple Hills, MD and Donald McLaughlin of Danville, VA; his uncle Deacon Albert; his aunt Elizabeth Harris of Danville, VA.; and his siblings-in-law, Jacquelyn Reid of Quincy, MA, Pamela Reid of Quincy, MA, Kelvin Reid of Boston, MA, Philip Reid of Boston, MA and Woodrow "Woody" Wilson. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
