Vertis Monroe Hagan Obituary
Vertis Monroe Hagan, the only son of the late Elizabeth Vaughn and Vertis S. Hagan was born on November 22, 1945 in Baltimore, Maryland. He departed this life peacefully on Monday, June 8, 2020 at home in the care of loved ones.
In 1968, Vertis was drafted into the United States Air Force and served as an aircraft mechanic during the Vietnam War.
Vertis was married to Linda Hagan (Weaver), however the marriage ended in divorce.
Vertis loved to stay fit by riding his bicycle for long distances and rollerskating circles around the average person.
He is survived by his half-sister Joanne Vaughn of California; daughter, Amina Hagan; son, Vertis A. Hagan; grandchildren, Nigel, Shanice, Darian, Anthony, Isaiah and Micah as well as many other beloved family and friends.
