It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Stella M. Prentis (Petersburg, Virginia), who passed away on July 17, 2020, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Odessa Allen and Willie Allen; her siblings, Joseph Allen and Marian Allen; and her great-nephew Tyrone Williams.
She is survived by: her children, Nathaniel Pearson (Brenda Porter) of Petersburg, VA, Josett Cox and Eric; her grandchildren, Nathlie Pearson, Ryshawn Newsome, Dondre Thrope, Leonard Owen, Nataysha Taylor and Erica; her brothers, Alfredia Ogburn, LaQuanda Ogburn and Sasha Mimms; her great grandchildren, Dondre Streat, Deonta Streat, Kaviryon Jones, Nyheem Taylor, ZiYonna Taylor, Madysan Thompson, Raegan Thrope and Kamari Thrope; her siblings, Weldon Allen, Larry Allen, Pearl Black of Dunn, NC, Willie Jr. of Petersburg, VA and Marie Harris of Baltimore, MD; her nieces, Pamela Allen, Michelle Allen, Latisha Allen and Tashia Allen; and her nephew Kelvin Allen. She is also survived by great nieces, great nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
