He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Catherine Lee (Treet); his parents, Sarah Dennis Tucker and Howard Dennis; and his siblings, Frank, Santee, Joseph, Andrew, Freddie, Edward, Queen Ester and Eva.

He is survived by: his daughter LaEunice Bouldin (Bryan); his great grandchild Trevor; and his brother John Dennis of Richmond.
