He was predeceased by: his grandparents, James Whitley and Ann Whitley. He is survived by: his parents, Janet Ann Whitley and Robert Reddell Lammey III (Kathleen); his siblings, Evan J. Whitley (Kristen), Robert Lammey IV and Morgan Lammey; his grandparents, Robert Jr. and Francis Lammey, Jr.; and his significant other Julia Dunham. He is also survived by aunts, uncles and numerous cousins.

“Russell was one of my best friends. I met him in Costa Rica as young kids in middle school. We were in the same grade. I didnt see much of Russell in the last ~5 years of his life, since he had moved to the US. Russell was a hilarious, kind, thoughtful, intelligent, and genuinely down to earth dude. He never had much in the way of financial wealth but anything he had he shared with those around him. I miss him dearly. If your reading this Janet, I miss you and love you and hope your well.”
