It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rudolph Stephenson Jr. (Petersburg, Virginia), who passed away on February 19, 2025, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Evelyn Stephenson, and Rudolph Stephenson, Sr.; his wife Brenda Godwin Stephenson; and his daughter Cindy Marie Stephenson. He is survived by: his children, Amy Leigh Woodfin (John) and Robert Wayne Stephenson (Rosie); his grandchildren, Savannah Bordeau (Josh), Chandler Woodfin (Cody Ellis), Rudy Stephenson and Reed Stephenson; his great grandchild Waverly Bordeau; and his sister Wanda Kay Jackson. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other extended family.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the E. Alvin Small Funeral Home, Crater Road Chapel (3935 S Crater Rd, Petersburg, VA 23805). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Second Baptist Church (3355 Johnson Rd, Petersburg, VA 23805).
