He was predeceased by: his mother Nancy Jessup. He is survived by: his wife Janet Tyler; his daughters, Amanda Smith (Johnathan) and Alison Adams (Colton); his sister Janice Bain (Jim); and his grandchildren, Caroline Smith, Savannah Smith, Madelyn Smith, Elena Adams, Peyton Adams and Tyler Adams. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Crater Road Chapel of E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes (3935 S Crater Rd, Petersburg, VA 23805).
