He was predeceased by: his father Dr. James Tazewell; his brother James Tazewell Jones, III (Shirley); and his stepfather William D. Ridout. He is survived by: his sisters, Vicki Jones Baldwin (Greg), Sandra Lee Jones and Susan Jones Parent (Wally); his stepsiblings, Robin Ridout Borkowski (Tom) and David Ridout (Connie); and his uncle John B. Jones (Lawana).
